Cubixx Home mobile app · Effective 19 September 2026

Cubixx Home controls Cubixx smart-home devices installed in your home. This page explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

How we use it

To operate the service: controlling your devices locally and, with an active subscription, over the internet; keeping your home configuration in sync; letting your installer set up and support your home; and verifying subscriptions. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Who can see it

Your installer (the company that set up your home) can see your home’s device status and configuration for the projects they manage. Our hosting provider stores the data on servers in the EU. Google and Apple receive what is necessary to process subscriptions.

Retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists. Device diagnostics are kept for a limited period for support purposes.

Deleting your Cubixx Home account. Either:

What is deleted: your account (email, name, Google sign-in link), your home configuration and room photos, invitations and membership records. What is kept: purchase records that the app stores (Google Play, Apple) require us to retain for their own accounting, and anonymised device diagnostics that are not linked to you. An active subscription is not cancelled by deleting the account — cancel it in your Google Play or Apple account settings.

Security

Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (TLS). Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Each home’s cloud connection is isolated to that home’s credentials.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
